A bottle of bubbly is par for the course when it comes to a romantic dinner but why not really impress your loved one this Valentine’s Day with a tasty and sexy new cocktail? These two can be found on the Valentine’s menu at Ginger’s Bar at Glynn Purnell’s Bistro.
35ml Lanique Rose Vodka
20ml Edmond Briottet Crème de Blanc Cacao
10ml Mozart chocolate liqueur
1 dash of Mozart Chocolate Bitters
Serve in a champagne glass
To mix it:
Chill the champagne flute in the freezer. Once the glass has chilled, rub a lemon wedge around the edge of the glass and dip into icing sugar, coating inside and out. Pour all of the ingredients into a mixing tin, add a cube ice and shake vigorously. Serve by pouring through a fine strainer straight into the champagne flute.
For best results, this cocktail is best served chilled.
35ml Vanilla pod infused Vodka
20ml Cherry Marnier
20ml cranberry juice
1 squeezed lime wedge
To garnish: A scorched orange heart
To mix it
Chill a martini glass. Then add all of your ingredients to a mixing tin.
Shake and then fine strain into glass before garnishing.
