Talented trampolinists from Wilmslow High School brought home an impressive hoard of silverware for the school’s already-bulging trophy cabinet.

The boys teams travelled to a schools’ competition in Bristol where they pitted their skills against 416 other competitors from 145 other schools.

Will Powell had an early start, performing two near-perfect routines to claim first place in the British Under-13 Elite boys category.

The Under-13 boys novice team (Oliver Ford, Harry Riches, Matt Crawford and Ben Roberts) overcame substantial nerves to beat all other opposition in their category. The boys performed outstanding routines in front of the judges and triumphed with the first place trophy.

The day got even better for the Holly Road school as the Under-15 boys novice team (Jack Perry, Jonny Draper, Rafe Cotton and Daniel Wright) also gained medal positions, winning third place in their category.

The team’s coaches couldn’t have asked for more as this was a fiercely fought group and the exceptional effort displayed by the boys is a testament to their hours of training.

The day was completed when the Under-19 boys (Chris Davies, Tom Mellor, Ryan Wood and Harrison Giles) managed to claim a substantial victory from the rest of their competitors.

They outshone all the other bouncers to secure another first place.

Lead coach Hilary Pemberton said: "Once again the commitment shown has brought fantastic results – the best ever seen by the school – at the highest-level for school teams in Britain."
