Wilmslow Wayfarers were comprehensively outplayed by Trinity in a game which they secured a losing draw.

Bowling first, Wayfarers dropped numerous chances with Myatt making the most of his fortune to score 102. The away side totaled 223-8 as Joel Unsworth returned Wayfarers’ best figures of 4-32.

In reply, Wayfarers never had enough telling partnerships. Only Thomas Usain Matthews (21), James Cosgrove-Bennett (43) and Joey Unsworth (31) managed to trouble the scorers.

In the end, Martyn Baldwin and Andrew Bruce provided an important rearguard action as Wayfarers closed on 147-9.

The second XI secured victory over Rylands. Batting first, they put on 189-6.

Khatteer Zeb then stole the show with a superb hat-trick ending up with figures of 6-37 as the home side were sent back for 104 all out.
