This week’s Time-trip column features an award-winning bra, charity trekkers and pizza-makers.
Each week we publish a set of pictures taken by Macclesfield Express photographers which appeared in the paper in the 2000s.
They appear first on our website and are then reprinted in the paper.
This week our pictures show staff and guests at Wains Solicitors Macclesfield’s Children in Need Lunch, and employees at Arighi Bianchi in Macclesfield who were taking part in a charity trek. On the picture are, from left, Kristina Varnley, Catherine Slack, Rob Gleave and Wendy Harrington.
We also have a shot of Pizza Express Macclesfield staff, from left, Tomasz Kicia, Emily Jackson, Enzo McCloud, Olinda Rollerson and Craig Seedhouse, and another of Sir Nick Winterton MP at Wishes Charity Shop, Mill Street, Macclesfield, judging a bra competition, with Sheila Kirk and shop manager Edwina Buczynski, and the winning bra made by Carole Jones and Wendy Boarman.
The photographs were all taken in the mid-2000s.
