Artists from Wilmslow will take part in an open studio event this weekend.

Cheshire Open Studios is an annual event giving people the opportunity to visit artists and crafts people in their place of work.

Wilmslow and Macclesfield are featured on Saturday, May 4, and Sunday, May 5, and three artists are exhibiting together at Garry Olson's studio and gallery in Stoney Lane.

Garry, known for his contemporary furniture made from local timber, will exhibit with textile artist Jane Mitchell and Max Aitken, who creates landscapes and portraits.

Visitors can also see work by Jane Foddy, at 59A Knutsford Road.

Jane specialises in willow animal sculptures.

Garry Olson said: “All of the artists exhibit widely and work to commission. 

“They will be looking forward to greeting visitors to discuss materials, techniques, tools and design inspirations.”

The studios are open from 10am to 5pm, on Saturday and Sunday, May 4 and 5.
