Special guests were invited to a town hall event to mark the launch of new bus model on the 130 Macclesfield to Manchester route.

The new Sapphire bus, which already operates on the 38 route to Crewe, features free Wi-fi, USB charging points, luxury leather type seating, extra leg room and audio/visual next stop announcements. They will take to the roads from Monday, September 7.

To mark the launch, a Sapphire bus spent the day in front of the iconic Macclesfield Town Hall and special guests were invited to watch impressive entertainers Calvos Dos who wowed passers-by with their mesmerising act.
