Prestbury Youth Club needs your votes to win vital cash towards a new youth centre.

Members of the club have been busy raising funds for a new home after their old premises at Ford House was declared unfit on health and safety.

Now they are in the running to get a grant from the Aviva Community Fund, but need votes to ensure they get the cash.

The money will be added to the £95,000 they have already raised and enable them to build a new Youth and Community Centre at Bollin Grove.

April Green, chair of the club, is calling for residents to vote for the club online.

She said: “Please help, Prestbury Youth Club has entered the national AVIVA community fund competition and we desperately need your help.

"We only have one day left and only registering and voting just takes a couple of minutes. Please log on to www.AVIVAcommunityfund.c o.uk and allocate your votes to our project.

“The funds will help us build a replacement community and youth centre in the village, to be inclusive to all.”

The Youth and Community centre will help regenerate the area accommodating Prestbury Youth Club and for Prestbury AFC U15 football team. The centre will also include local groups such as keep fit classes, youth drama groups, youth forum, multi sports etc. It will also be open to other groups within our village such as Age UK, Friends for Leisure and other groups encouraging an inclusive use.
