Police got cheeky on Twitter after a man was found with a knife between his buttocks.
Officers from Macclesfield’s neighbourhood policing unit tweeted after a man was found walking in the street with a knife concealed between his buttocks.
They tweeted a picture of the long silver blade and message which included the hashtag #theCHEEKofit.
It read: “Officers stopped and searched a man today that had this hidden between his buttocks. #theCHEEKofit.”
A spokesman said the knife was found after police stopped and searched a 29-year-old man on Fence Avenue, Macclesfield, at around 9.30am on Friday, May 27.
Following the search a 29 year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of a knife in a public place.
