Schoolchildren, workers and families took part in sponsored events for Comic Relief.

Organisations across Macclesfield held fun activities in aid of Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day which raises money for causes in Africa and the UK.

Students at Macclesfield College did face painting and staff dressed in red to participate in a picture quiz.

Physiotherapists and occupational therapists from Macclesfield Hospital painted their faces and raised more than £120.

Visitors to Specsavers in the Grosvenor Centre bought comical Red Nose Day glasses.
