Top business brains and dedicated employers are encouraged to shout about their achievements and get involved in this year’s North East Cheshire Business Awards.
The event - now in its sixth year - celebrates the best in business across north east Cheshire culminating in an awards ceremony filled with the community’s biggest movers and shakers.
A free launch event on Wednesday, June 1, will kick-start the awards, giving new participants the chance to learn about what’s involved, and previous winners to check out their competition.

Sue Bowden from Macclesfield Chamber of Commerce and lead organiser of the event, said: “I would encourage any business in north
east Cheshire to enter this year’s awards.
“They are dedicated to celebrating the entrepreneurial spirit, the success, talent and all that’s great about business in our area.
“There is something for everyone – they allow for companies of all sizes and all sectors to be considered for their outstanding achievement, innovation, leadership, creativity and more importantly, a positive contribution to the success of the local business community.
“As any of our previous winners will tell you, the recognition from winning is not only good for potential clients but staff as well.”
Categories will include: Business of the Year Turnover over £5 million; Business of the Year Turnover up to £5 million; Excellence in Customer Service; Innovation & Design; Apprentice of the Year; Best use of Social Media; Best Design/Creative Campaign; Team of the Year; Entrepreneur of the Year; Start Up Business of the Year; Charity of the Year.
A Charity of the Year category is also being added and the winner will be taken forward as the Award’s own charity partner in 2017.
The launch event is at The Mere Resort, Knutsford, between 6pm until 8pm, with entries open on the same day.
The closing date is September 30.
