The funeral of the Macclesfield mum of two who died in a car crash will take place on Friday.

Carla Mansfield, 25, died after the accident on London Road North, Poynton, on August 10.

The popular hairdresser left behind her boyfriend, Tom Watson, and their children, Evie, two, and four-month-old Ethan.

The funeral is at Macclesfield Crematorium at 1.20pm.

Mourners are encouraged to wear something pink, Carla’s favourite colour.

Carla’s cousin Jamie Thomson, 25, said: "Everyone who knew Carla is welcome to come along to say goodbye.

"Her family have been overwhelmed by the tributes to her. It goes to show how popular she was."

Dozens of floral tributes have been placed at the crash site opposite the Bull’s Head pub where her black Kia Picanto hit the number 391 Baker bus. Friends and family held a candle-lit vigil at the site on Friday.

Carla worked at Head Office hair salon in Bollington which has a tribute in its window saying ‘Keep Carla in your hearts’.
