Campaigners who fought to keep Hollins View care home open want to hear from families about their experiences since its closure.

Cheshire East council closed the centre at the beginning of the year, with care provided instead in private care homes. In place of the 30 beds previously at Hollins View, the council commissioned just two beds at Weston Park, Moss Lane, Macclesfield and one at Lyme Green Hall, London Road, Sutton.
Members of the campaign group which tried and save the centre have met again to discuss the impact. They want to hear from families about their experiences.
Morven Sowerbutts, from the group, said: “Having lost the battle to keep Hollins View open, it might seem like the end of the road for our group. There was a strong feeling however that after such a major reduction in services to the elderly and vulnerable there was a need to try and assess the impact and keep it on the agenda of health and social care authorities.”
