Fourteen people have appeared in court accused of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

It follows a series of police raids across Cheshire and Merseyside on Wednesday.

The men - seven of which are from Macclesfield - appeared at Crewe Magistrates Court.

They are all aged between 18 and 50 and are due to appear at Chester Crown Court on Wednesday, September 30.

The men from Macclesfield, who have all been remanded in custody, are:
Peter John Jones, 50, Bread Street.
Thomas Jackson, 18, Wenlock Close.
David Anthony Hunter, 35, Stoneleigh Close.
John Thomas Hambleton, 47, Sutton Close.
Michael John Green, 35, Buckfast Close.
Thomas Flannagan, 29, Brynmore Drive.
Stephen Day, 43, Kendal Road.
Darren John Cooper, 39, Pennine Court, Carisbrook Avenue.
Adam James Harrison, 29, Cedar Grove, Macclesfield, has been charged with supplying class A drugs. He has been bailed to appear at Chester Crown Court on September 30.
