A fun day will raise money for a family whose baby daughter is battling cancer.

Cherry Cookson was just five months old when she was diagnosed with cancer neuroblastoma and admitted to Manchester Children’s Hospital.

She has been undergoing chemotherapy and after being sent home a few days ago has sadly been readmitted to hospital because she developed a cold and temperature.

Lisa Flynn, a friend of parents Verity and Ben, has raised nearly £7,000 to help the family.

She has organised a fun day at Calvary Church, Merebrook Road, Macclesfield, this Saturday, November 19, from 10.30am to 12.30pm with bouncy castle, Elsa and Anna from Frozen, refreshments, raffle and tombola, craft corner and nail station among the activities.
