Recent cases from Stockport magistrates court:

Kayleigh Houghton, 29, of Somerset Close, Macclesfield, admitted assault, and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. She was fined £180 and ordered to pay £150 compensation.

Matthew John Tyrer, 43, of Parkgate Road, Macclesfield, admitted driving while disqualified and driving without insurance. He was jailed for 18 weeks and banned for 12 months.

Martin Nash, 45, of Top Street, Oldham, admitted criminal damage to a sofa, ladies clothes, handbag and telephone valued at £200 in Macclesfield. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £200 compensation.

Jake Cunningham, 24, of Garden Street, Macclesfield, admitted drink driving. He was fined £350 and banned for 18 months.

Ian David Armitt, 49, of Brook Street, Macclesfield, admitted assault. He was given 100 hours unpaid work and ordered to pay £50 compensation.

Brian Robinson, 42, of Park End Road, Manchester, admitted burglary of a garage in Bollington where he stole bicycles and sunglasses worth £11,320. He was jailed for six months.

Charles William Frost-Danson, 25, Beech Lane, Macclesfield, admitted drug driving. He was fined £190 with a 12 month ban.

Andrew William Wallis, 31, of Somerton Road, Macclesfield, admitted drug driving, possession of cannabis, and driving without insurance. He was bailed for a case management hearing on November 9.

Anthony Stephen O’Grady, 51, of Byrons Lane, Macclesfield, admitted burglary of Footprints Nursery where he stole two mobile phones and cutlery. He was jailed for 12 weeks.

Gareth Maurice-Jones, 37, of Conniston Way, Macclesfield, admitted drink driving and breaching a restraining order. He was given an eight week prison sentence suspended for 12 months, fined £120 and banned for 36 months.
