Recent cases heard at Macclesfield and Crewe magistrates courts

Alan Paul Horton, 60, of Knutsford Walk, Macclesfield, admitted assault by beating. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months.

Nichola Tomkinson, 28, of Marne Place, Bucknall, admitted theft of fragrances from Boots in Macclesfield. She was fined £80.

Michael John Gregory, 29, of Mill Lane, Macclesfield, admitted assault by beating. He was given a two year community order with rehabilitation activities. He was also fined £225.

Maria Victoria Francis Salt, 35, of Victoria Court, Leek, admitted theft of fragrances from Boots in Macclesfield. She was fined £80.

Victoria Anne Kelly, 31, of Wadham Road, Bootle, was found guilty of assault after trial and admitted criminal damage of property in Macclesfield. She was given a community order with curfew for 12 weeks. She was also given a restraining order for two years and ordered to pay compensation of £305.

Gareth Lee Oldham, 32, of Pitt Street, Macclesfield, admitted theft of sherry worth £7 and two charges of breaching supervision requirements after being released from prison. He was jailed for eight weeks.

James Nigel Mayer, 24, of Parkett Heyes Road, Macclesfield, was found guilty of driving without due care and attention. He was fined £520 and had his licence endorsed with seven points.

Christine Margaret Holleran, 53, of Church Street West, Macclesfield, admitted breaching an anti-social behaviour order by being drunk and disorderly in public. She also admitted breaching a court order. She was given an eight week prison sentence suspended for 12 months.

Andrew McKeith, 29, of Armory Court Mews, Macclesfield, admitted criminal damage and two charges of assault by beating. He was given a community order with rehabilitation activities. He was also given a three year restraining order preventing him from contacting his victims or going within 100m with Ullswater in Macclesfield.

Jonathan Martin Hatch, 35, of Chomondeley Street, Macclesfield, admitted driving while disqualified. He was jailed for 12 weeks and banned from driving for 18 months.

Paul Collins, 34, of Beech Lane, Macclesfield, admitted theft of Adidas sportswear from Sports Direct. He was given a 10 week prison sentenced suspended for 12 months. He must pay compensation of £64.98.

Christopher Roy Downes, 52, of Norton Street, Macclesfield, admitted theft of fragrances worth £120 from Boots. He was given 16 week prison sentenced suspended for 12 months and a curfew lasting eight weeks.
