A couple’s car was stolen with their two dogs inside.
The black BMW estate was taken from Elm Beds Caravan Park in Higher Poynton sometime between 11pm last night (March 27) and 8am this morning (March 28).
Lottie, a seven-year-old west highland terrier and Victor, a 12-year-old border collie, were sleeping in the back.
Both dogs are electronically tagged and have collars with contact details for their owners Tina and Pete Cumberlidge.
The couple from Bristol were visiting friends who run the caravan site.
Tina said: “Both dogs are very relaxed with strangers it is likely that whoever took the car might not have known they were in there.”
