Following a fabulous season for the members of Macclesfield and District Riding Club, the end of season presentation evening provided the opportunity for riders, friends and families to get together to celebrate their achievements.

Once again there were great achievements for both teams and individual riders this year.

Throughout the summer season, members competing at MDRC shows accrue points when they win and are placed in the classes.

At the end of the season, the points are added up and Champion and Reserve Champions are announced at the presentation evening, with the successful participants receiving trophies and rosettes.

A club spokesman said: "With around 50 classes per show, you can begin to imagine the amount of silverware and ribbons involved in this special event.

"The event was a huge success, attended by over 150 people including grandparents, families and friends, and it was lovely to see so many people receiving their trophies and rewards after putting in so much effort and hard work over the past year.

"Thank you to you all for your continued support."

The club also thanked its season sponsors whose support is so valuable to the club, and to everyone who contributed prizes for the raffle on the night.
