DE VERE Mottram Hall provided a great venue for the corporate community as it staged a Corporate Invitational Day.

Many companies were represented at the event which, like the fantastic course at De Vere Mottram Hall hotel, is always popular with the business community.

De Vere Mottram Hall is justifiably proud of its superb Dave Thomas-designed 18-hole, par-72 course. It is renowned as one of the best courses in the country, attracting golfers from far and wide, and is also seen as one of the best locations for doing business in the area.

The event proved hugely popular and, as well as the tournament, participants enjoyed other on-course events including taking on home PGA Matthew Turnock in a 'beat the pro' challenge, plus a spectacular trick shot show from the renowned showman David Edwards.

Some tried to replicate his feats, but only highlighted what a talented shot-maker he is.

De Vere Mottram Hall general manager Stephen Fearnley, said: "The day really showcased the fantastic facilities we have here at Mottram, not just in terms of our superb course and clubhouse, but also at the hotel itself.
