IN THE Capital One Macclesfield and District Sunday League, Blueberry beat the Spinners Arms 2-1 at Mary Dendy.

Chris Wreh and Carl Burton were on target in a 2-1 win. Greg Mathers scored Spinners' late consolation.

In a great advert for Division One, Weaver won a seven-goal thriller 4-3 against Prestbury Club.

Paul Smith (2), Trevor Firth and Liam Hadfield scored Weaver's goals, with Craig Scott (2) and Curtis Hornby replying.

Another seven-goal game saw Beehive take the points in their game at Poynton. Dave Scott, Rick Geary, Teg Westbrook and Richard Axon gave Beehive the points, dsepite goals from Lee Stubbs (2) and Tuga Matungwa.

Matt Towns gave Premier Division leaders Pack Horse a half-time lead against AC Bollan. Fran Oliver levelled but, after he missed an opportunity for the winner, Martin Quigley punished Bollan in Pack Horse's 2-1 win.

Goals from Pete Ford and Danny Mountford (2) gave Staffs Knot a 3-0 win at Tythy Juniors, while Lamb beat Mulberry Bush 3-0, with goals from Jonathan Flower, Martin Firth and Nick Stone.

Emlyn Hughes hit a hat-trick for Ridgegate and Adam Brindle, Jordan Hitchin and Nick Sheratt completing a 6-0 victory over Chain and Gate.

Two each from Andy Shard and Rick Nelson, and goal from Craig Hayes gave Boarhound a 5-1 win over Baths.
