Macc Boys entertain a full house

MACCLESFIELD Boys' Boxing Club staged its annual showcase on Friday, and local boxers enjoyed plenty of success, with just two losses in the 13-bout event.
The club's talented young fighters paraded their skills before a sell-out crowd at Wilmslow Leisure Centre, and onlookers included professional boxers Steve Bell and Anthony Farnell.
Opponents travelled from Cumbria and Yorkshire to compete in an entertaining night.
MBBC coach Jez Hough said: "It really was a good night's boxing.
"This is the third year we've staged this event and obviously it wouldn't be possible without the great support we receive.
"It was a complete sell-out. With around 400 people in the crowd, it's good experience for the lads."
