THE 2005 GMWN Trophy is in full swing after the draw for the mens and ladies singles has been completed.
The preliminary round for the ladies sees plenty of local action with frequent finalist Macclesfield's Sue Orwin visiting Ann Garner of Withington.
Gillian Usher is also on her travels as she takes on Anne McCormick at Disley, while Julia Dunn entertains Reddish Vale's Karen Cunliffe at her home course.
Macc's Bernard O'Donovan journeys to Disley to face Paul Will, and Shrigley Hall's Andy Whitfield visits Steve Bullock at Reddish Vale.
Tytherington's Andrew Adshead travels to High Legh Park to play Eric Warburton, while all other local players have been handed a bye.
All players will be looking to make it through to finals day at Denton on Sunday, September 18 where they can win a fabulous holiday in south-west Ireland and in the Lake District at Lindeth Howe Hotel, courtesy of Fairway Holidays.
The winners will also receive trophies from Ryan PGT in Stockport and there will be plenty of other prizes on offer on the day.
