WITH most of the ECL Clubs engaged on cup duty, only three league fixtures took place this weekend.

Juno United 0
Bollington Athletic 1

A CRUCIAL game for both teams with Bollington looking to find some form after some indifferent results and Juno looking to keep in touch with the clubs at the top of the division.

A Chris Wearing goal in the first half settled this game in Bolly's favour, and with the pitch cutting up, free-flowing football was always going to be difficult.

Poynton FC 2
Lindow 6

FREE scoring Lindow produced yet another marvellous performance at Woodford Rec, putting Poynton to the sword.

Tom Gill scored twice for Lindow as did Steve Bennett, with John Conroy and Nick Killeen also finding the net. Garry Foulkes converted a penalty for Poynton on his debut and Ash Pembery added a second.

DENDY must be one of the unluckiest teams in the league.

Despite having failed to secure a victory in the league this season they have, at times, played some decent football and surely must be due a victory soon.

Leon White and Will Tolley netted for Dendy whilst Liam Hadfield hit two for The Bruce, Wayne Tomlinson and Paul Tomlinson getting the others.
