Wheeler the winner!

PRIORY County under-14s won a hard-fought game against Hyde United Juniors with a single late goal from James Wheeler.

Priory County under-13s enjoyed a comfortable 4-2 victory on a poor pitch against Ladybridge County.

Tom Wheeler set Priory on their way, only for County to equalise.

A Peter Barron effort hit the post and rebounded in off a County defender to regain the lead before County again equalised.

Priory then pulled away with further strikes from Jack Wright and Peter Barron.

Meanwhile, Priory's under-16s won 5-2 against Lostock Rangers.

Priory withstood an early bombardment from Rangers, before taking the lead through a cool finish from Nathan Hulley.

James Newton then set up Ben Greener to slot in the second. Andy Laing flicked in a third just before half time.

The second half saw Elliott Purdom crash home a fourth Priory goal, before Lostock claimed two and were back in the game. Finally, Hulley got rewards for his persistence when the fifth rebounded in off him from a goalkeeper clearance. Jordan Dyson put in a terrific performance in the midfield.

Poynton JRC under-nines A went down 7-1 against Queensgate, Logan Stanyer grabbed the consolation.

The B team won 5-1 against Lostock, however, on target were Will Palmer (2), Michael Langton, Connor Lynn and an own goal.

The C team drew 2-2 with C&G B where Joe Allen and Josh Knowles scored.

A goal from Ollie Simpson was enough for Poynton's under-10s A to see off Bollington United A, while the B team drew 4-4 with Bolly B.

On target for Poynton were Nicholas Kinsey, Sam Bramwell, Matt Nylan and Jack Kemp.

Poynton's under-12s thumped Signol Athletic 7-0 after Rick Glen, Will Hanson (2),Alex Dodgson (2), Elliott Moores and Gareth Peacock had netted.

The under-14s beat Chorlton 3-2 thanks to strikes from Nathan Kent (2) and Chris Wilson.

Poynton's under-15s hammered Ladybridge 6-0 where Simon Rhodes (3), Sean Cooper (2) and Zac Meikle were on target. Sadly Poynton's under-10s girls lost 7-0 at Northside.

Priory County's under-17s beat Bollington 3-0 as David Billington, Danny Frost and Carl McCurrie found the target.

Macc Boys under-nines travelled to Congleton to play Vale and came away with a creditable 1-1 draw.

Man-of-the-match Zak Sandhu was the goalscorer.

Henbury and Broken Cross under-10s beat Woodlea 4-3 thanks to goals from Peter Taylor, Lewis Levet (2) and Matthew Chandler.

Henbury's under-15s crushed Signol 9-0. The goals came from Aaron Walker (6),Chris Wilson, Michael Dille and Ryan Goodman.

Tytherington Juniors under-nines had a good 2-0 win over Magpies where Thomas Ramsey and Kris Birtwistle netted.

Last weekend Macc Boys under-eights played Winnington at home and had two tough games.

In the first game Macc Boys won 2 -0 with goals from Josh Crumplin and Jonathon Lloyd. In the second game Macc Boys eventully came through 4-0 winners with two goals each from Jack Disney and Alex Head.

Macc Tigers under-11s beat Sandbach Falcons 4-3 thanks to two goals apiece from Joe Coombs and Johnny Cavanagh.

Macc Boys under-10s were in the goals in their two games against Witton.

In the first game they won 3-0 thanks to strikes from James Searle (2) and Ben Streets, the second game yielded a 4-4 draw. On target that time were Jake Perkins, Conor Hibell, William Henshall and Beau Gatward.

Richmond Rovers under-10s celebrated an impressive 3-1 victory over Stockport Metro League rivals Mountfield.

On target for the local outfit were Elliot Fairclough, Rory Knibbs and Will Wilmot.

Henbury and Broken Cross under-13s went down 7-1 to Cheadle and Gatley. Daniel Tatton was the lone marksman.

Bollington United secured a mixed set of results last weekend.

The under-nines A drew 1-1 at Stockport Vikings thanks to Dan Carter's equaliser. The under-nines B triumphed 5-2 against the Vikings where man-of-the-match Jacob Leff scored four times and Jack Heginbottom once.

Bolly's under-10s A were edged out 1-0 by Poynton, but the B team had a thrilling 4-4 draw, also against Poynton.

On the mark there were George Cole, Alex Morris, Robert Houghton and Coalan Doyle.

The under-11s celebrated a cracking 7-1 win at Chapel Town where Callum Wright (2), Charlie Wood, Ryan Hibbert, Peter Henshall, Will Lloyd and an own goal provided the firepower.

The under-12s A lost 6-0 at Lisborn St Anthony's, but Bollington's under-13s prevailed 4-3 against New Mills Juniors. On target were Robin Fry, Mark Taylor and Alex Sykes (2).

Gary Chapman struck a super hat-trick as Bolly's under-14s won 5-4 at South Manchester. Jack Walthall and Ryan Foster also netted.
