BACKLOG - the Macclesfield Town away kit.
Macc away kit launch scuppered

DISAPPOINTED fans who were ready to purchase the new Macclesfield Town away kit last weekend got more than they bargained for.
The kit, which was made in Europe, was delayed in customs because of a Bank Holiday backlog - but fans who turned up to the official launch in Macc town centre still left with smiles on their faces.
Players, Roary the Lion and Macc manager Brian Horton met with the fans, and everyone who signed up for the kit was given a special gift to ease the disappointment.
Club spokesman Colin Garlick told us: "Apparently the shirts were held up because of a Bank Holiday backlog at Heathrow customs."
"It was a shame, but everyone that came down to the Cheshire Building Society were spot on, there wasn't a cross words said."
"Everyone got either a sports bag, a ball or a book - it just goes to show what nice people we are!"
The club also agreed to deliver all kits which were ordered. They will arrive later this week.
