SEASON tickets at Moss Rose are set to increase as the club bid to boost the coffers for a summer of transfer activity.

Macc chairman Rob Bickerton has outlined plans for the biggest summer of spending yet seen at the club, but fans will have to dig a little deeper for season tickets if the plans are to go ahead.

An adult season ticket for the Main Stand is now £350, but can be purchased for £315 if bought before June 11. A concessionary ticket will be £240, but considerable savings can be made if purchased before the above date.

London Road season tickets are £250, with a £20 early purchase saving. Concessions are £150, with a saving of up to £80 if bought early.

Chairman Rob Bickerton said: "It was a tremendous relief for us all to have secured our league status, especially as our fans demonstrated their desire by turning up in increased numbers recently at both home and away games."

"The support at Rochdale in particular was fantastic and it certainly contributed to our improved performances and helped us pull away from danger."

"But next season we want to do much better and we are planning to assemble the best squad of players this club has ever had."

"Rest assured, the board will be doing their bit to make our ambitions and dreams become a reality."

Letters will be sent to existing season ticket holders detailing the full price list.

Crowd figures this season were the highest since Macc gained promotion to division two in 1998/9 under Sammy McIlroy. Their highest gate was 3,801 against Hull City.
