Big Glyn pulls a blinder!

IT'S a familiar story - Macc lads out on the pull last weekend, but Glyn Jones did it with a difference!
The local-based strongman travelled down to Twyford to compete in this week's Tug of War Association competition, where his Congleton team finished third in the catchweight category.
Congleton won a gold medal at catchweight whilst representing England at the UK Championships last year, also taking the gold in the 720 and 680 kilo categories.
Local lads Bosley finished second in the 680 kilo and 640 competitions, beaten on both occasions by Somerset-based Felton Eccles in the final.
Next week, the team travel back down south to Leicestershire to compete in the St Pats Open to prepare for the National Outdoor Finals on June 19 and the World Championships held in the USA in September.
