Join cartridge family to help Silkmen

SOCCER: Help Macclesfield Town get a few more fans to the Moss Rose - and save yourself a bit of money in the process.

That is the offer from the Silkmen, who have teamed up with a Macclesfield business to encourage volunteers to put up posters advertising home games.

Park Lane-based company Cartridge World is offering free printing cartridge refills to anyone who prints out and distributes the posters, which appear on Macclesfield Town's official website - www.mtfc.co.uk

Macc are advertising the scheme under the slogan 'No such thing as a free lunch'.

And the club are eager to hear from pub landlords, shop owners or anyone else who wants to help spread the word about the Silkmen while saving money on printer cartridges.

Macc are looking for volunteers who can advertise home games on a regular basis - starting with the Boxing Day clash with Lincoln.

Andy Miller, a partner at Cartridge World, said: "I'm more than happy to help out. Macclesfield Town are a great club, and I think that as a local business we should be doing our bit to help them.

"If the club do well, then it helps the town, so everybody can benefit from a scheme such as this."
