Whitaker awaits Moss video verdict

SOCCER: Danny Whitaker is waiting for video evidence before discovering whether he will be fined for his red card at Cambridge on Saturday.
The 22-year-old midfielder was sent off for an off-the-ball clash with Cambridge's Luke Gutteridge as the Silkmen went down 3-1.
Referee Paul Taylor saw Whitaker aim a retaliatory kick at Gutteridge as the two players tussled.
Moss criticised Taylor's performance after the game, but has yet to decide whether to take any action against Whitaker.
The manager said: "I thought the referee was awful. He used no common sense whatsoever.
"We were comfortable at 1-1 before the sending off.
"The game changed on a stupid incident.
"If Danny has kicked out, then he will be fined. But I will look at the video before making a decision."
