Eaton in talks

28/11/2002

SOCCER: David Eaton could be offered a longer deal at Macc after some impressive displays.

The former Everton trainee has started just one game but found the back of the net three times. He is currently on a three-month contract.

"I do want to sit down with David and sort something out at least until the end of the season and maybe longer," said Moss.

Midfielder Paul Aldridge has received a major setback on his recovery from injury.

Aldridge has refractured his foot and will be out for a further six to eight weeks.

Macc's Second Round FA Cup tie at home to Vauxhall Motors will not be all-ticket.

Season-ticket holders can claim their seats until Tuesday at 7pm. Tickets will then go on general sale. Payment will be available at the turnstile on the day. The tie will take place on December 7 KO 5.35pm.
