SOCCER: Transfer listed Damien Whitehead hasn't sparked any bids yet, despite reported interest.
The striker has been told he can leave Macclesfield on loan or on a free by boss David Moss.
Rumours have surfaced that both Cheltenham and Carlisle have made inquiries about the player.
But Moss says Whitehead - who has fought back from a troublesome double hernia injury this season - has yet to generate any firm offers.
"All this talk about other clubs is just pie in the sky," Moss told the MEN.
"I have had no offers from any other club and until the phone rings there is little I can do for the lad.
"He's a decent lad but he has not impressed me as a footballer and I feel the club can look to other options."
