SOCCER: Macclesfield Town's youth team are becoming the draw specialists of the academy world.

The Moss Rose youth side have taken their one-point haul to six stalemates in the last nine games.

In their latest series of games, they followed up their 1-1 home draw with Lincoln with a scoreless clash at Rotherham United, the table-toppers of the Youth Alliance league.

The likes of Jordan Goodeve and Steve Brackenridge impressed in the Rotherham game, while Dean Thurston went close twice late on.

Adam Naylor got Macc's goal in the Lincoln City draw.
