Trio to depart Macc board

SOCCER: Three Macclesfield Town directors have announced they will be leaving the club
Roy Higginbotham, Martin Lenton and Jeremy Turner have told the club they wish to resign from the board of the limited company.
Chairman Eddie Furlong told the club's website: "We would like to thank Roy, Jeremy and Martin for the major commitment they have each made to the club as directors.
"Their contribution to the success of the Silkmen in recent years has been immense."
The board now comprises of Furlong, vice chairman Alan Cash, chief executive Colin Garlick and directors Rob Bickerton and Mike Rance, who say they are going to give David Moss 'the support he needs to ensure the future success of the Moss Rose club'.
