Hatters home in on Grayson

COUNTY gaffer Andy Kilner is in talks with Simon Grayson's agent.

The pair are meeting up in an attempt to acquire the services of the Blackburn Rovers utility player on a permanent basis.

Attempts to sign Grayson have continued over a number of weeks, with some national newspapers speculating that he was on the verge of signing for County weeks ago.

Stockport are facing competition for his signature, with Reading also chasing Grayson.

Kilner said: "It's going to take some working out but the bottom line is that I think the lad wants to come and play football here and we want to have him here."
