Macauley talks to resume

SOCCER: Steve Macauley will talk to David Moss this week about a return to the Moss Rose.
Macauley spent a month on loan at Macclesfield from Crewe, but returned to Gresty Road three weeks ago after fracturing a bone in his hand.
Moss is keen to bring the 32-year-old back to Macclesfield on loan, with a view to a permanent move.
The manager said: "I'm waiting for news on Steve's progress, but I will be speaking to him at the end of this week.
"If his doctor says he can start full training again, then I will look at bringing him back on loan for another month."
Moss had denied reports linking him with a move for Crewe winger Colin Little.
But the manager said he tried unsuccessfully to sign teenage midfielder James Coppinger from Newcastle last week.
The youngster chose instead to sign for Hartlepool, for whom he scored on his debut against Rushden and Diamonds on Saturday.
