Rushden boss praises Macc

SOCCER: Rushden and Diamonds manager Brian Talbot has praised Macclesfield ahead to the two teams' meeting tonight (Tuesday).
Talbot told the club's website: "I think, if we are being honest, money dictates and I don't think that Macclesfield have a lot of money.
"We went there earlier in the season and the board was saying if they finish 15th or 16th they would be well pleased.
"They have established themselves as a good third division club and fair play to them for their achievements in the football league.
"We saw them play against Shrewsbury and they won 2-1. By all accounts they played exceptionally well.
"They are a decent side and work hard. It certainly won't be an easy game for us."
