It was all square at Priory Park, as the blustery conditions made play difficult against relegation-threatened Boro.
Macc grabbed a first half lead playing into the wind, as scrum-half Ross Harper crossed for a try converted by Phil Macey.
Four minutes before the interval, Boro pulled the deficit back to two points with a touchdown from a lineout.
The lead changed hands on a number of occasions after the break - the visitors added to their tally shortly after the break as winger Wesley Penry burst through for a solo effort.
Macc responded with a Macey try, but his missed conversion was followed by a penalty kick.
Another Boro try brought the scores level at 15-15 in the closing stages.
It looked like Macc would edge it with a further Macey penalty, only for the visitors to reply with one of their own.
