PRESTBURY dressage star Chloe Vell has enjoyed a fine summer in the saddle.
The 10-year-old competes on her pony, Duntarvie Catalan, and the six-legged team enjoyed success at international level this year.
Chloe’s exceptional summer actually began in March, when she was part of a four-rider East Cheshire squad that enjoyed individual and team success in the Pony Club Baker Tilly Freestyle Dressage To Music Competition in Warwickshire.
The youngster, from Dumbah Lane, then represented the North West team in the Under-25s championships and competed in the individual competition at the Sheepgate championships, registering highly respectable fourth and fifth places in the country’s open-age group.
The talented rider also competes at novice level in British dressage and has notched up first and second places, appearing in Horse and Hound Magazine’s top listings.
