Manchester champions

MACCLESFIELD Hockey Club’s Under-11 team has been crowned as Greater Manchester champions.
Macclesfield returned to Belle Vue for the last round of the GM League, and their two victories saw them take the title.
The goalscorers on the day were Emma Kane, Sarah Duffy and Ashleigh Jackson.
All squad members are looking forward to next season when the club will be fielding teams in the U-11 and U-13 leagues.
The club thanked sponsors S D Jackson Building and Joinery, Mr and Mrs John Davies, and Granelli Ice Cream.
