Nationals await biathlon duo

TWO BIATHLETES from Macclesfield’s King’s School have qualified for the National Schools Championship finals after strong performances in the West Midlands regional event.
A team of four athletes from the school travelled to Walsall for the race.
The course involved a swim and run with the athletes aiming to finish in the top six to secure a place in the British finals.
Lara Knowles and Alix Davies booked their spots with fourth-place finishes and received medals for their efforts.
They will take their places in the final in Bath in February, but just missing out on places were Chloe Abbott and Laura Venables.
