Burnage leaves Priory

MACC’S first team coach, Steve Burnage, has left the club after the Blues’ poor start to the season.
Club chairman Bernard Smith said: "Due to the run of poor results this season it has been necessary for Macclesfield Rugby Club to replace coach Steve Burnage.
"The club is very grateful for Steve’s efforts during his 18 months with the club. A replacement is being sought and an announcement will be made soon."
Assistant coach Brendan Thomas has taken over the running of the first team following Burnage’s departure.
