ALBION'S terrible run of form continued in Worsley as Monton Amateurs swept to a 4-0 victory.

There was no lack of effort from the Oakwood Park side, better finishing proved the difference between the two sides. Pete Tristram went close and Eke Eme had an effort narrowly deflected over the bar. Monton took the lead five minutes before half time through Reuben Brown.

Marlon Lee almost snatched an equaliser but Monton snatched a controversial second when a handball went undetected in the build up to Phil Roberts' goal.

Wilmslow ran out of steam, and Monton added two more through Paul Nuttall and Colin Bonfield.
