WILMSLOW women’s lacrosse team have got a lot to be proud of this season so far.

This may seem strange following two losses from two games, 10-4 to Leeds and 8-4 to Liverpool, but the good at the club definitely outweighs the bad.

Wilmslow have recruited American coach Kari Slade, a real coup since the game is taught to youngsters from an early age in the USA.

Kari’s boot camp sessions and the squad’s renewed enthusiasm means both opposition teams were taken by surprise and the progress is illustrated by the difference in fortunes last season, when Liverpool beat Wilmslow by an astonishing 27-0.
