Youth shone at Alderley Edge in the monthly medal as Cheshire junior champion Harry Sexton led in after winning a cpo on 65 from another young star in Tommy Lawton.
A Sunday Stableford at Styal saw Amher first past the post with 36 points from C Fenn and James MCormick both 33.
Styal ladies played in two singles Stablefords and the first went to Veronica Almond after winning a cpo on 36 points from Yee Lee and Patt Stott.
The second was won in emphatic style by Elaine Sloane with 40 points, three clear of Enid Laverty and Veronica Almond.
