Alderley Edge Golf Club’s junior captain Dan Featherstone is now the proud holder of the art deco Hospital Trophy after winning a 36-hole medal.

Dan, who plays off 15, returned rounds of 67 and 68 for a 135 total which left him three shots clear of Ken Hall.

Styal’s Festival Saturday Stableford had David Jones roaring to victory with 44 points, six clear of junior William Dodds.
