ALDERLEY Edge Golf club witnessed an unusual occurrence at this year's ALM Golf Classic.

Two competitors notched up holes in ones during the match.

On a day forecast for thunder and lightning the sun shone throughout the afternoon even more so for the two fortunate golfers.

Tony Taylor, Macclesfield Golf Club professional, was first to hole out on the 15th, a 127-yard par three.

He was quickly followed by Mike Hanson of Vernon Building Society.

Representing the Together Trust charity, Mike sank his tee-shot on the par three, 133-yard 13th hole.

As well as the day's two top achievements, Vision Windows took the ALM title, with Auto Factors in second.

The event is now in its third year and Together Trust thanked Alderley Edge Golf Club and ALM Honda for sponsoring the event.
