Impressive AZ looking four-midable

IN THE Trade Mark Collections East Cheshire League, Club AZ made it four wins out of four with an impressive win against last season’s runners-up, Old Alts Vets.

The Vets have struggled in their opening two fixtures without their regular goalkeeper Mark Higgs. They played a predictably tight game and openings were in short supply in the first half but AZ did manage to breach the home defence twice, turning around 2-1 ahead.
