A decade of Macc Town Ladies

MACCLESFIELD Town Ladies FC held their end of season Presentation Evening in the McIlroy Suite.
As usual the suite was bulging at the seams with players, parents and officials, as the club’s eight teams celebrated a successful season both on and off the field.
It was also an opportunity to mark the 10th anniversary since the present club first entered a team in the Cheshire Girls League, and several of that squad joined more than 100 current players to enjoy the evening.
The main award of the night was presented to the Under-14 Silks who won three competitions during the season.
Macclesfield Town chairman Mike Rance, players James Jennings and Gareth Evans, Richard Ovel from Cheshire Building Society and Gill O’Hare from Macclesfield Borough Council were all on hand to enjoy the event and present awards.
