Bolton Lads and Girls 2 Macc Town Ladies 11

FACING a team at the foot of the table, Macc Town Ladies put 11 past their rivals from Bolton.
The Silkgirls set off at a great pace and, five minutes in, Beth Clarke followed up a Kim Janes shot and fired into the net.
Within minutes Hannah Roberts bagged two for a 3-0 lead after just 15 minutes.
A lapse in defence saw Bolton score and the game became scrappy but, at the end of the half, Jenna Mape fed Sophie Thomason who hit the fourth.
At the start of the second half, Janes helped herself to two goals.
The Silkgirls were dominant and Mape, Krista Oakes, and Sue Bassett were all denied by fine saves by the Bolton keeper.
As the hosts tired, debutant Sue Wynes showed excellent composure to slot home.
Thomason got her second and then Wynes swiftly completed her hat-trick.
Jade Treanor finished the scoring with a 30-yard thunderbolt to end a good team performance, in which 21st birthday girl Vicky Jepson had an excellent game despite her celebrations.
