PRESTBURY Football Club’s Under-13s are aiming for county glory this weekend, when they face Ashfield Youths on Sunday.
The Prestbury youngsters beat Broadheath Central in their semi-final clash and will be hoping they can claim the Cheshire FA Minor Cup this weekend.
They booked their place in the final with an exciting 4-3 success over Broadheath at Altrincham FC.
Beau Gatward opened the scoring within the first two minutes before Broadheath responded and then took the lead.
Despite a second goal for Prestbury, through Sam Oates, they went into the half-time break 3-2 down.
In the second half, Prestbury gradually wore down the opposition and goals from Dan Lloyd and Jake Perkins put Prestbury through to the final.
They will take on their opponents from the Wirral at a neutral venue in Runcorn.
